Introduction to linocut - rubber stamp

Linocut is, as the name suggests, engraving on linoleum. (Wow thank you Jean-Michel Texplicationtropbien)

It is an old printing process, derived from wood engraving. The goal is to engrave a matrix in a material to come and press it with ink on paper or even fabric.

This workshop is an introduction to this discipline, even the less seasoned are invited!

I am going to offer you small drawings and typographies so that you can come and compose your frame and then engrave it. It is a slow and almost therapeutic process, a very pleasant moment in perspective.

- Choice of format and composition

- Transfer and engraving

- Impression

Little more :  the workshops are also moments of meeting, life and conviviality. We are not at the library, no one will CHHHHHHTTTTT if someone starts talking, quite the contrary.

As we serve you a small drink on site and in addition you stay several hours together, the health pass is mandatory .

Just come with your good humor and your hidden smile, we take care of the rest. Unless you absolutely want to engrave your own design, you are free to come with it. Be careful all the same with lines that are too fine and have a small format.
